About Florida Predictions
Short answer. Florida Predictions reports what prediction markets say about Florida's elections, clubs and public questions. It is published by Market Movers Media Inc. and takes no side on any outcome or venue.

Florida Predictions is published by Market Movers Media Inc. The same company publishes a family of state sites, each covering the questions in its own state that an exchange has listed as a contract. Here that means Florida's races for governor, the U.S. Senate and the state's seats in the U.S. House, the season and title markets on Florida's professional clubs and college football programs, Miami's weather and the price of gasoline in the state. Every page is written under the FloridaPrediction Staff byline, and the publisher's mailbox is hello@marketmoversmediainc.com.
Florida Predictions is a publication, not a marketplace. It holds no reader accounts, takes no orders and accepts no deposits, and nothing on it can be bought or sold.
Where the numbers come from
Market prices on this site are exchange prices supplied by Prediction Genius and shown as percentages. Each figure is a quote from a named venue, and the venue's name sits next to it. Where several venues list the same line, the figure a page leads with is the lowest price any of them asks for Yes, shown with the name of the venue asking it. Quotes from different venues are never blended into a single number.
A percentage on this site is what a market implies, not a forecast or a recommendation. It reflects the last price at which traders on that venue were willing to deal, and a filing, an injury, a poll or one large order can change it quickly. Each price block carries the time it was last updated. The prose on a page explains what the contract pays out on, who decides the outcome and what has pushed the price around; the number itself stays on the board.
What this site does not do
It never says to buy, sell or hold a contract, and it never ranks one exchange over another. Nothing here is investment, financial or legal advice. A venue appears on a page only because it lists the contract that page covers.
The desk has no hand in any price. Figures arrive from the venues as quoted, and no venue pays for a page, reads one in advance or shapes how it is written; the disclosure page states this in full. Whether a person in Florida may trade a given contract is a separate question, which the legal status page answers only with the dated public record: the Florida Gaming Control Commission, the state's statutes and the courts, with no conclusion drawn.
Corrections and reviews
Corrections are made on the page they concern and dated. The correction says what was wrong and when the page changed, rather than disappearing into a silent edit. To report one, write to hello@marketmoversmediainc.com with the page, the sentence and, if there is one, the document that settles it; the contact page covers the other reasons to write.
Every page shows the date it was last reviewed. Legal and election pages are reviewed every 14 days and after any filing or result. Club pages are reviewed weekly during a season and monthly outside it, person pages every 30 days, section pages every 90 days and pages like this one every 180 days. A page past its review date stays up while it is checked again, because a review revises a page and never removes it. What the site records about visitors is set out in the privacy policy, and the rules for using it in the terms of service.
